| Information: This is the SACD version of the same recordingt offered a few months back by ClassiQuest in the DVD AUDIO using TACET REAL SURROUND SOUND. That disc is made for all DVD Surround Systems. This SACD contains the same two cherished works - along with a short piece by the flute player on this recording of the Saint-Seans - presented in English narration, German narration and then solely musical works all in ....MOVING REAL SURROUND SOUND. As one sits in a room properly equipped, the Prokofiev will spring to life as you are aurally surrounded by the house, woods, lake, tree and fence. Oh, by the way.....the Saint-Saens is told, in this unique version, by the owl!! In terms of recording technology the DVD offers infinitely more options for the sound engineer than ordinary CDs. With this production Tacet gives the listener a fascinating variety. The aim is to use the whole acoustic space for the musical experience and not confine such to two speakers. But Tacet goes one step further. They believe that even the surround sound of the DVD does not full explore its potential for a complete listening event. With Tacet Moving Real Surround Sound the performance comes at you from all angles and continues to move around you througout the progression of the work. This 'third dimension' of moving sound may disconcert some, that is why Tacet provides both surround sound listening possibilities on one disc. All is very full explained in the accompanying booklet. | ||
