Pianist Barbara Nissman inaugurates a new series for Pierian devoted to "the pieces I most enjoy playing in concert. Each volume features a variety of composers and highlights the contrasting sound worlds they conceived at the piano. Each composer paints his canvas with a unique, emotional palette. Most were pianists themselves, and their knowledge of the instrument gave them the freedom to experiment and explore."
