Her second recoding on Fleur de Son of contemporary works for solo viola..Ms. Watras again shows that she is quite fearless and daring in her desire to promote the most recent music for her instrument...she has long been at the forefront of the American new music scene, performing numerous commissions and world premieres as a soloist and co-founder of the award-winning Corigliano Quartet. An active performer in New York City, she is a member of SONYC and has played with the Orpheus Chamber Orchestra and other groups.
